Saving and Protecting Your Records

Increased record keeping:
Changing government and legal requirements are forcing businesses to keep records for longer and longer periods of time.  While not normally needed during daily business activities, these important documents need to be preserved.
Inefficient use of space:
Forced storage of inactive records and files consumes space - space which could be devoted to more productive activities.  Few organizations have space to waste.
Inadequate storage protection:
In addition, many businesses have inadequate storage protection.  Misfortunes such as fire or theft could result in a possible loss of records.  Few businesses can afford that risk.
Granite City Records & Security Offers Safety & Security:
We have the most modern security system available, located in a totally fire proofed building.  With surveillance cameras, cardkey door entry systems and special alarms, your records will be safe from harm and theft.
Special storage needs:
Granite City Records and Security Storage understands and has anticipated certain items' special needs.  For example; microfilm, microfiche, and computer discs require special handling and storing.  We have built into the system a safe and easy way of storing such articles.
Climate control:
In addition, temperature and humidity are carefully controlled and constantly monitored in those areas of the facility where more "delicate" records are stored.
Document destruction:
As important as your documents are today, they will outlive their usefulness.  When it is no longer necessary to keep your old records, Granite City Record and Security Storage has built into the system a safe and legal way to destroy them.

On the disposition date you have chosen, and with a written order from you, we will destroy your documents and provide you with a legal Certificate of Destruction.
